||Extra Info||
||Personality||
Saint Trenton can not stand to be around other stallions, and has even physically got into a fight on the track. He only likes people he's known for a while and if any stranger tries to approach there's a good chance they won't get to close before realizing it's smart to back off. Trenton never really lived the life of luxury, but so far has no problems with it except for all the attention it brings. Saint Trenton tends to bond with his rider, but just because he likes you doesn't mean he's gonna do everything your way. He has a mind of his own, and if you forget you will be reminded. Trenton does not like the starting gate, he's not afraid of it, but the main idea of being locked up in a small area makes him go wild. So at most races it takes quite a few stable hands to finally get him in, but once he's on the track there's nothing else he thinks about accept getting to the finish line first. However though, after the race he's usually a devil to control.
||History||
Saint Trenton was born on May, 7, 2006 so he's just turned three. His sire was the proud, and well known Grand Trenton. While his dam Sea La Saint Bay had been known around the world for the long distance races she had entered and won, but the the most important thing of all about Trenton was his breeder. The famous Greg Brown had been breeding Thoroughbreds for a while now, and upon purchasing Trenton's dam he knew exactly what stud he should breed her too, therefor creating Saint Trenton. Now don't get me wrong here, even though Trenton's blood lines, and parents racing history are to die for, he wasn't dealt the easy hand of life. Sadly a few months after his birth, Trenton's breeder Greg Brown died in a car accident, and sense he had no living relatives everything he owned was sent to auction, including the horses.
Trenton was then bought by a less famous breeder by the name of Don, Martin Don. Trenton had never even raced once in his life for he was still far to young, but no that didn't stop Don from making his life hell. Saint Trenton had been scheduled for workouts on the track every two days sense he turned a year old. While he was first entered into a race at the young age of two, it was only to be scratched and even though the black colt hadn't lost his wind in all abuse, his past left it's mark. His once beautiful ebony colored pelt was scared and dull. He even had a few deep gashes on his side's from the spurs on the rider's boots, and even worse his rump was lined with whips marks. This of course told how the jockey got him to produce such great speed, but in spite of all this, Trenton had never lost his pride, and therefor you could even say it was his fault for being treated like he was. His strong will to not give in is what caused him such pain, yet nothing could change who he was...
*Note -- Trenton's racing information and pictures are subject to change over time as he ages, and enters more races. Also note that he is not an abuse case, only that he had been treated roughly, and his past owners we're ir-responsible.[/blockquote]
